THE MAN BEHIND THE VOICE
The tedious process of recording sound has to be done, except this time actor Hari Kang made it an enjoyable one. Within our play we hear news stories breaking across the world, reporting true events that were occurring during the 2019 Hong Kong protests. Not only did Hari deliver the facts but he was able to create a tension that is required for our play. We played around with numerous versions of delivery before finally settling on the voice we hear in the play. It was important that we were able to recreate the true news recordings that were aired by sticking to the facts and not creating an opinionated tone.
